City of Clarkston issued the following announcement on Aug. 28.
Reminder in reference to the up coming holiday and the sanitation schedule.
City of Clarkston’s Administrative Offices will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
Clarkston’s Sanitation Collection Schedule for Labor day
Due to the Labor Day Holiday, Residential service will be delayed by one day.The weekly trash, bulk item, and yard waste collections will occur on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Please place your green Waste Management container and any bulk items and/or yard waste for Tuesday’s collection no earlier than Monday, September 7th at sunset.
Please remember the spread of COVID-19 has slowed, but has not stopped. Our fight against this deadly virus is not over.
Stay vigilant this Labor Day Weekend by protecting yourself and others:
Stay home when possible
Wear a mask
Practice social distancing
Avoid gatherings of more than 10 people
Wash or sanitize your hands often and get tested!
