Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia students paid $11,700 to attend the two-year private not-for-profit institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 67 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 79 students received grants or scholarships totaling $243,015 and 89 students took out student loans totaling more than $467,917.

Including all undergraduates (200), 177 students used grants or scholarships totaling $509,660, and 183 students took out $988,782 in federal student loans.
