Conservative circles are expressing concern after Todd Blanche, nominated by Donald Trump for the position of Deputy Attorney General, was seen in a lunch meeting with CNN's Kaitlan Collins. The encounter has sparked controversy due to Collins' reputation as a critic of President-elect Trump.

Photographs taken by journalist Raheem Kassam showed both individuals engaged in what appeared to be an intense conversation. This has led to speculation among Trump's supporters about potential leaks from within Trump's circle. An unnamed source told OK! Magazine that "Trump hates anyone in his inner circle being a leak," suggesting that the meeting could cause unrest for Trump.

Collins had previously reported on Blanche's consideration for the Deputy AG role, citing sources familiar with Trump's plans. Her article raised questions about possible insider information being shared with the media.

Kaitlan Collins is set to become CNN's Chief White House Correspondent while continuing her role as anchor of The Source. Todd Blanche, known for his legal defense work during Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s prosecution against Trump, switched political affiliation from Democrat to Republican in 2024.

The sighting has led to widespread discussion on social media platforms, with many users questioning Blanche's loyalty and calling for his removal from consideration as Deputy Attorney General. The Gateway Pundit has reached out to Todd Blanche for comment but has yet to receive a response.

The incident highlights ongoing concerns among Trump's supporters about internal loyalty and potential leaks within the administration as it prepares for its upcoming term.
