A daycare worker in Texas has been taken into custody following allegations of repeatedly kicking toddlers under her care. Catherine Guziejka, aged 44, was employed at Punkin’ Doodles Day Care in Lindale when the incidents reportedly occurred.

The authorities were informed about the alleged abuse by a parent of one of the children involved. This parent learned about the situation from another employee who had viewed surveillance footage capturing the incidents.

According to reports by The New York Post, "the sheriff claimed Guziejka was caught on film kicking the six children on 134 separate occasions." Since her arrest on October 30, Guziejka has been held on six counts of injury to a child with intent to cause bodily harm.

The reported abuse took place over several months between July and October. One part of the footage allegedly shows Guziejka kicking a two-year-old boy in his lower back while he lay defenseless on the floor. Other parts of the video reportedly depict her dragging toddlers from their beds by their arms and using physical punishment by standing on their hands.

Guziejka had been working at Punkin’ Doodles Day Care since September 2023 but was terminated following these revelations.
