The Dunwoody Police Department is aware of a man calling people and telling them they have warrants. The man is also telling people to pay him money in order to drop the warrants. Please be aware that this is not legitimate as the Dunwoody Police Department would never do this. (WS)

There were 20 more registered sex offenders living in DeKalb County as of the first quarter of 2026 than in the previous quarter, according to the Georgia Sex Offender Registry.
The Georgia Sex Offender Registry shows 1,342 registered sex offenders were living in DeKalb County as of the week ending April 18.
