Rep. Hank Johnson, a U.S. Congressman representing Georgia’s 4th district since 2007, shared his thoughts on recent political developments through a series of tweets. Johnson, who succeeded Cynthia McKinney and previously served on the DeKalb County Commission, is known for his outspoken views.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Hank Johnson tweeted about the dissemination of false information in the political sphere: “The lies are coming like water from a fire hose.”

In another tweet posted shortly after, Johnson specifically accused former President Donald Trump of spreading misinformation: “Trump is ‘flooding the zone’ with lies.”

Later that day, he commented on Republican support for Trump by referencing an event involving “Bobby,” suggesting compliance among Republicans: “A standing O for Bobby. Why? These submissive Republicans will do whatever Trump wants.”
