The City of Doraville Municipal Court is holding an Amnesty Program for individuals with delinquent traffic citation(s) and/or active bench warrants for failure to appear in court.  The incentive of the program is to promote lawful driving privileges, settle outstanding violations,  reduce arrests and ease the financial burden for individuals to close their case(s).

We invite you to take advantage of the Amnesty Program, which will begin February 01, 2023 and end March 31, 2023.   During this time if you pay your fine(s) in full, all contempt fees will be forgiven.  If your offense(s) are mandatory, then you are required to attend a mandatory court appearance.  The mandatory court appearance will be set for a future court date to appear before a judge/solicitor.  Any active warrants, will be cleared.

Failure to appear cases can not be paid online.

Anyone who takes advantage of the amnesty program and their license have been suspended for non payment of fines, will receive documentation to take to Department of Drivers Services to restore driver license priviledges. You may have to pay a reinstatement fee to Department of  Driver Services to have your license reinstated, after leaving the court.

“This is not a tactic to lure anyone in to be arrested.  The program is designed to assist in paying off outstanding fines without penalities”, says Rochelle Sanderson, Clerk of Court for Doraville Municipal Court.  The program will also help the court reduce it’s backlog on cases, from the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Doraville Municipal Court is located at 3765 Park Avenue, Doraville, Georgia 30340.  If you would like  to participate, in the amnesty program,  you  may walk-in to the Doraville Municipal Court,  Monday-Friday  during the hours of 9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., to take advantage of the program.

Forms of payments that will be accepted are cash, money orders, cashier checks, and credit cards.  NO PERSONAL CHECKS.
