Mercer University’s Stetson-Hatcher School of Business has announced a new initiative aimed at local professionals seeking to advance their education. The school is offering preferred pricing on two online graduate-level courses: Introduction to Data Science and Analytics, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Leaders.
According to the university, these courses are designed to equip employees with practical skills in data analytics or innovation that can be applied immediately in the workplace. Both courses are fully online, allowing participants flexibility as they balance work and study commitments.
The university states that completion of either course can serve as a starting point toward further academic credentials. Credits earned may be applied toward a four-course graduate certificate or one of three master’s degree programs: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA), or Master of Science in Integrative Business (MSIB).
Applicants interested in the program can use the fee waiver code MERCERBIZ50 when applying through the university’s application portal at https://connect.mercer.edu/register/businesscertificate. In the application process, candidates should select “Certificate Programs” as their program of choice.
The school also offers the option to create private cohorts for groups of 25 or more students from organizations. The deadline to apply for this opportunity is Friday, September 5.
