Jon Stewart expressed frustration and fatigue during a recent episode of The Daily Show, focusing on the current lack of political power for those who voted for Kamala Harris. In his remarks, Stewart criticized U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), describing it as a “well-funded paramilitary group” that is “throwing grandmothers onto linoleum and zip-tying American children.” He added, “And everyone’s just supposed to be cool with the new, masked, incredibly well-funded paramilitary group,” while also stating that “Democrats are just reduced to petty gestures of restroom resistance.”

Stewart continued by criticizing Democratic leadership: “Look, I’ve given Democrats an enormous amount of shit for their poor leadership: lack of specific and actionable plans, terrible messaging, abysmal wordplay. Did I mention poor leadership?” He urged Democrats to do more, saying, “But standing up for 75 million Americans in this moment to defend the rights of people to go into a little less medical debt seems like the least they can fucking do.”

A video clip of Stewart’s comments was shared by Breitbart News on social media.
