On a recent episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” podcast host Joe Rogan discussed videos circulating online that show pregnant women taking Tylenol in response to guidance from the Trump administration. The administration had advised against acetaminophen use during pregnancy, citing research on a possible link between the medication and autism diagnoses in children.
Rogan addressed the trend of some social media users, particularly on TikTok, who ingested Tylenol as an act of protest. He pointed out that the recommendation was based on scientific research from Harvard University.
“I’ve been fascinated by these videos of pregnant women taking Tylenol to show Trump that they don’t believe in what RFK Jr. is saying, that it’s somehow or another anti-science — when this science came from Harvard,” Rogan said. “That’s where the study came from. He’s not making things up. And these people are like on TikTok — they’re pregnant women taking Tylenol.”
The discussion follows public reaction after officials including Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. highlighted findings about acetaminophen use during pregnancy and its potential risks.
A video clip of Rogan’s comments was shared widely on social media platforms.
