Hank Johnson expressed support for Senate Democrats’ efforts to reach a bipartisan agreement on government funding following significant budget cuts attributed to “Co-President Musk.” He stated, “I commend Senate Democrats for insisting that we reach a bipartisan agreement to fund what’s left of our government after Co-President Musk’s chainsaw cuts.” Additionally, he endorsed a four-week extension aimed at providing Congress with additional time to finalize a deal and affirmed his commitment to remain in Washington D.C. as necessary.
