State Representative Karla Drenner, the DeKalb House Delegation Chair, expressed her excitement about the opening of the DeKalb County House and Senate Constituent Services Office at The New Black Wall Street. She stated, “Let this be a beacon of accessibility, advocacy, and empowerment for all our constituents. Together, we embark on a journey of service, solidarity, and progress.”

Representative Viola Davis, the DeKalb House Delegation Vice Chair, highlighted the office’s significance, stating, “This office represents our commitment to serving the needs of our community and providing a centralized hub for constituents to voice their concerns, seek assistance and access valuable resources.”

State Representative Rhonda Taylor shared her enthusiasm, saying, “Constituents will have direct access to those who represent them in DeKalb and obtain much-needed resources. This opens the door for even more community engagement and will better aid in providing services.”

The grand opening event, scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 5 p.m. at The New Black Wall Street in Stonecrest, Georgia, promises an evening of celebration, community spirit, and opportunities to connect with fellow constituents and elected officials. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, remarks from local dignitaries, and an introduction to the range of services available at the office.
