General Tso’s Restaurant and Catering has been named the official catering partner for the upcoming DeKalb County Senior Prom, according to an announcement from The Center for Truth and Healing (CFTH). The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 6, at the Atrium Performing Arts Center in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
The Senior Prom will gather about 300 community members aged 55 and older. This year’s theme is “Dancing Through the Decades,” and the event aims to provide an afternoon of fellowship and dancing.
“We are thrilled to partner with General Tso’s Restaurant and Catering to make this Senior Prom a truly unforgettable experience,” said Queen Shanta Lana Hereford, Founder of CFTH. “This event is about honoring our seniors, celebrating their lives, and giving them a space to create new memories together.”
CFTH also acknowledged support from several sponsors helping make the event possible. These include The Brantley Foundation, The Atrium Performing Arts Center, JenCare Senior Medical Centers, Kay’s Vision Association, Rose Concierge Senior Services, Building Unity Community, SeedLife Foundation, and The Nation of Cherut.
Although tickets for this year’s prom have sold out, CFTH stated that sponsorships and vendor opportunities are still available. Interested parties can contact CFTH via email at sponsorship@truthandhealing.org.
