DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will hold an official opening ceremony for Pendergrast Park and a newly installed playground. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 30, at 10 a.m. at  Pendergrast Park,1996 Chrysler Drive NE, Atlanta, GA 30345.

A total of $577,818 was allocated to complete the park improvements. Contributions to complete the project were provided in part through Park Pride’s Community Building Grant, supported by The Home Depot Foundation, Commissioner Michelle Spears, The Friends of Pendergrast Park and the Parks Department.

The public is invited to join county officials, parks staff and the Friends of Pendergrast Park to the ceremony.
