The DeKalb-Peachtree Airport Advisory Board will hold its next meeting on Monday, February 9, at 6 p.m. The meeting will take place at 2000 Airport Rd., Room 227, Atlanta, Georgia, 30341. Members of the public have the option to attend in person or join virtually via a Zoom link or by phone.

The agenda includes approval of the January 2025 minutes and updates on ongoing projects. Hunter Hines is scheduled to deliver the Director’s Report, which will cover several topics such as punch list items and FAA lighting repairs related to the Runway 3R/21L Keel Replacement Project. Other updates include information on landing fees and air quality and noise issues.

Korey Barnes will present the January Operations and Noise Report. The board also plans to address any new business and allow time for public comments.

In related matters concerning DeKalb County, enrollment at county schools declined by 2.2% during the 2022-23 academic year compared to the previous year (https://www.gadoe.org/). During that period, total enrollment was reported at 98,287 students (https://www.gadoe.org/). White students made up about 14% of DeKalb County’s student body in that school year (https://www.gadoe.org/).
