Tiyaka Bass has been appointed as the new Events Coordinator for the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce. She began her role on August 4, where she will oversee and assist with the planning, execution, and logistics of events, special projects, and fundraisers organized by the Chamber.
Bass has more than 25 years of experience in hospitality, retail management, and event planning. She is also a business owner in DeKalb County and the founder of Queens Tea Party in Chamblee. Her background includes expertise in logistics, operations, and coordinating large-scale events.
Bass expressed her commitment to creating programs and signature events that align with the Chamber’s mission to empower businesses and contribute to economic growth in DeKalb County.
