The Chamblee Department of Public Works wanted to alert residents that there is a curbside leaf collection delay. Due to equipment repair, curbside leaf services are behind schedule but to ensure collection, place your leaves and grass clippings in paper bags curbside on your scheduled sanitation day.

DeKalb County officials have issued a warning to residents following a sharp increase in flu-related emergency calls.
According to the Registry, 1,320 of Georgia’s sex offenders live in DeKalb County as of the week ending Jan. 3.
DeKalb County will open several warming centers from December 29 to 31 in response to forecasts of freezing temperatures and hazardous wind chills.
