The cost of tuition at Oglethorpe University rose by 2.9% for the 2022-23 school year, based on the latest available information, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Students paid $44,060 to attend the private, not-for-profit university this year, which is $1,306 higher than the $42,754 charged during the 2021-22 academic year.

Approximately 82% of the undergraduate student body are residents of Georgia, while about 16% come from other states.

Data indicates that all full-time undergraduates who began studies at Oglethorpe University in the 2022-23 school year received some form of financial aid. A total of 425 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $15.6 million, and 365 students obtained student loans exceeding $2.7 million.

Across the entire undergraduate population, 1,405 students benefited from grants or scholarships totaling $50.3 million. Additionally, 1,003 students borrowed $6.7 million in federal student loans.
