Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has been recognized as one of the top pediatric hospitals in the United States for 2025-2026 by U.S. News & World Report. The hospital achieved national rankings in eight specialties, with its Orthopedics Program placing ninth, and its Cancer Program, Cardiology and Heart Surgery Program, Gastroenterology and GI Surgery Program, Nephrology Program, Neurology and Neurosurgery Program, Pulmonology and Lung Surgery Program, and Urology Program all ranked within the top 20 in their respective fields.

For the sixth consecutive year, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta was named the number one pediatric hospital in Georgia. It remains the only children’s hospital in the state to be ranked among the top 50 hospitals nationally.

The U.S. News & World Report evaluates hospitals based on outcomes, program structure, and national reputation across 11 pediatric specialty areas. Survey questions for these rankings are developed and refined by experts in each field. The full list of rankings can be found at usnews.com/childrenshospitals, and the results will also appear in the “Best Hospitals 2026” guidebook to be published later this fall.

“Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is honored to again be named a top children’s hospital,” said Donna Hyland, CEO of Children’s. “As our physicians, nurses and clinical teams advance novel breakthroughs and treatment approaches propelling their fields, we are carving out a leading position among the nation’s best children’s hospitals, all with the purpose of making kids better today and healthier tomorrow.”
