Road Work — Town of Yarmouth

The Ashford Dunwoody/Peachtree Road intersection is nearing completion.

In order to finish the job, Ashford Dunwoody Road must be closed for the intersection connection work, scheduled for Feb. 24 – 28, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., as needed, and weather permitting. Signage and message boards are going up to alert commuters.

This work will allow traffic to switch over to the new Ashford Dunwoody Road at the Peachtree Road intersection on an asphalt binder course as now exists on the new Ashford Dunwoody Road.

Temporary striping and asphalt transitions from the old roadway to new roadway until the final surfacing will be provided and maintained. Final surfacing of roadway will be at end of the project phasing and will be done using certified flaggers and lane staging.

It is anticipated all work, with exception of minor clean-up items, will be completed on or about March 6, weather permitting.
