Census Bureau: 76.9% of people in Dekalb County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 758,634 citizens living in Dekalb County in 2021, 76.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 583,319 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 270,760 were male, constituting 46.4%, and 312,559 were female, making up 53.6%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Dekalb County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.2%.
